  1. The other guy is stupid. Just call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX. They’ll replace it, free of charge. Even out of warranty, for red rings of death. They get it back to you in 2-3 weeks.

  2. Dont Know if this will work but its worth a try

Option 1: If it has screews on it try undoing it

Option 2: Try Leaving it off 4 24 hours

Option 3: If it still has a warranty

Option 4: Try Giving it another big bang on the side usually the problem is where it started.

Hope these work if not sorry

  3. Lol. that’s funny. If your arm is broken, you dont jump off a cliff to fix it. that’s what that guy was doing.

I had the 3 red lights about 5 months and i had to repair it myself cause i’m not the sit and wait type. Microsoft takes forever and a day.

Just find a good xbox 360 repair guide, go to google and type in: XBOX 360 fix

you should find what you are looking for.

  5. well, it sounds like you screwed up your disc.

anytime when a game is running, and you move/tilt the xbox, the laser will scratch up the disc and the disc wont work anymore.

Microsoft has a disc replacement program, just pray that rockband 2 is available. And if you get the death ring again, then call up microsoft, they’ll replace it for you for free if you’re in warranty (3 years from purchase date with receipt), $100 if out of warranty.

  6. Dont do that you scratch the piss out of your games if you do that. Its not your 360 its just if you move your 360 while a game is playing it gets scratched like crazy

  7. you are not supposed to move the xbox while its on especially if your playing a game it will scratch the disc all up and could cause it to stop working obviously. but just send it to microsoft to get fixed. You cant fix it yourself apparently because your using videos of people banging on it to get it to work and thinking that’s a good fix just let someone who knows what they are doing fix it.
