It’s not happening all the time, but it does happen. The screen just freezes. I can’t do anything with it. But when it does it I also have to push the power button twice to turn it off.

  1. Its an extremely common problem due to microsoft’s poor design. It used to happen to me. You need to make sure your xbox is not near any heatsources and away from walls. You should also buy a fan for your xbox. If this problem still continues, your xbox may eventually end up with the ring of death (3 red lights) and it will need to be repaired.

  2. I experienced the same thing, and it became more frequent. I eventually had to get my 360 fixed because it wouldn’t even turn on. Have you ever used the intercooler 360 fan? I’m almost positive this is what caused my problem. I don’t remember how it works, but the fan causes the problem because you plug the power supply chord into it which causes overheating. Also, xbox support told me that leaving the power chord plugged in (without the fan) can cause problems due to heat as well. With my new xbox I always unplug the chord when its not in use.

  3. Everyone’s xbox freezes every now and then its a common problem. Just make sure you keep it cool and not let it over heat. If it is a frequent problem call the xbox support line

  4. That’s not a problem if it’s now and then (say once every 2 to 3 weeks or less). Much more frequently, get it checked by MS or ventilate it better
