Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of The UnderGarden from Vitamin-G and Atari, a downloadable game for the PlayStation 3 on the PlayStation Network. The game is also available for the Xbox 360 and PC. The UnderGarden is a kind of aquatic puzzle game, in a sense, but in truth, even the puzzles play a secondary role in what this game is trying to achieve. The UnderGarden isn’t about finishing the level. In fact, the end-of-level portals are really nothing more than bells, meant for the player to ring when they’re ready for the next place to explore. The UnderGarden tries to pull your attention away from why you’re doing things and focus it instead on what you’re doing. This video review features video gameplay footage of The UnderGarden for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room’s Derek.
