How to get Digital games early (Xbox One)

  1. Just incase anyone stumbles upon this video now (March 2017), I want to clarify and update that this does not work anymore, as even digital games are now coded to your region. You'd have to create an XBOX Live account in whatever region you are trying to change to and THEN purchase the game from their store. In other words, there's absolutely no reason to do this as games typical release in North/South America two days prior to most of the rest of the world.

Example: I currently live in Europe but still use my US XB1 and preordered Mass Effect, which comes out on the 21st in the US and 23rd almost everywhere else. This means that even though I'm in Europe, since my console and Live account are both US, the game will be playable for me at 6am on the 21st.

These tricks unfortunately don't work anymore and when you get access to your game depends entirely in which region the account you made the purchase through is set in. Also note that if you change your account region through customer service, you have to wait something like 3 months before they will switch it back.

    Hope this helps.

  2. OK I'm trying this for Injustice 2. I dunno if it's gonna work but I pre-ordered it. So it should work.

  3. If I were u guys I would check the release dates in other countries and if it comes out before the release date in ur country set ur time zone and country to that country and u should be able to play the game that u want

  4. What are you on about saying that UTC is on the equator, I call it GMT because I'm Irish, but Ireland isn't on the Equator, It's so far away from it sooo… I don't know what you're on about
